It would, of course, be back to pink again next week. That was just how she rolled.
Taking a break from socializing, she gathered up a nice little plate full of hors d'oeuvres, milled around the drink station while she nibbled on a miniature tart and contemplated whether or not she wanted a glass of champagne or a cocktail.

The grey suit had been tailored to fit him and it seemed his girlfriend had agreed since she had said something about it being too nice to rip later on. Of course, he probably wouldn't mind if she tried.
The other thing he liked about his suit was that he had gone without a tie of some sort, leaving the top two buttons undone so he could breathe easily as he made his way through the crowd towards Ramona. He was carrying two glasses of champagne, one of which he offered to her when he got close enough.
"Have I said lately how amazing you look?" He smiled.

"You want to dance?" she asked as the music turned slow. She couldn't swing dance for shit, but she could rotate slowly in one place while hanging on to her boyfriend. No sweat.

Glancing towards the dance floor, he hesitated till the music turned slow. "Sure." He could handle slow dancing as well. Still smiling, he took her hand so he could lead her to the dance floor.

As soon as his mind started to wander, he cleared his throat and focused on dancing instead. Wrapping an arm around her waist, he smiled down at her before leaning in to press his cheek to hers.
