Where do I go from here? (Open)

Dec 08, 2011 18:30

After the conversation with my father I am at such a loss that I know not what to do. I went to my rooms after and looked at the cabinet beside my bed. That folder was where it should be, where I keep it. I took it and put it under everything else. Olore, being the curious fellow he is, decided that since the cabinet was open he should investigate ( Read more... )

Kerai was on her way home from the music store when she saw Faramir ahead of her, looking a little distracted. This was nothing new for him, he often had his mind elsewhere, but as she got closer, she felt the stirring in his feelings, such as she'd never felt in him before, confusion, shock, and a tremulous...joy?

As she neared, if he didn't see her, she would put a hand on his arm.

I'm so distracted that I do not see Kerai approach until she is very close. I break into a wide smile with a slight trace of embarrassment in it--she saw me when I was turned to a child.

"Kerai, how are you this day?"

I'm not getting notifs either.

She takes his hand, and looks into his eyes.

"I am well, my friend. And how are you?"

There is that feeling when she touches me, the memory that she might have been more, then it's gone and she's the very good friend I know.

"I think I am well, possibly better than well, though I probably shouldn't be." As odd as that seems. "I spoke with father. He found out about what happened on the island--how I came to be here."

Yes, that is good.

Spencer was headed home after work when he saw Faramir walking towards him, looking as though he was lost in thought. He glanced up and the men met eyes, so Spencer nodded in greeting to him.

It is Spencer Reid nodding at me--it takes a moment to acknowledge that--and so I smiled and return the nod.

"How are you faring, Spencer?" He seems quite comfortable.

"Generally fine. A bit cold."

Despite living in Virginia for so long, the cold still affected him, probably because he was so skinny. He wrapped his coat further around himself.

"You?"

"Sorry about the cold. This cloak is warmer than it looks and I don't get cold when I wear it--even in deepest winter." I do stand out, using a cloak and not a coat. "The Elves gave it to my brother* and he gave it to me, the first time the village turned us into children."

Well, the second time he wasn't turned.

"Did that affect you?" I ask. "It did me, though I think it worked out for the best. Father was... He stayed with me."

*Yes, it's that cloak. The pin isn't on it.
