Derek was out walking the streets trying to get more of a feel for the place. He'd have to meet Reid's girl sometime and he found someone he enjoyed hanging with who knew Chicago as well as he did. That's when he saw a familiar form.
The familiar voice was both comforting and troubling; it was nice to know he wasn't here alone, but here wasn't where either of them belonged, clearly. He hoped Morgan had some answers, because right now, he wasn't completely sure of anything.
"Morgan." He turned around, facing him. "How did you get here? And where is 'here'?"
"Some place I've never heard of. Reid said it's called Haruvatat." Derek shrugged and rubbed the back of his head. "As to how I got here no clue. I've been told this place just kind of snags you."
He stared blankly at Morgan for a moment. "...Haruvatat?" None of this made any sense, and the name of this place made even less sense. "What were you doing before you got here?"
Unless you do not wish him to meet such an... obviously fictitious person straight away. If so, please ignore this.
It was a strange few days, and not just because of being a child for that time. That, actually, I have come to enjoy. Seeing father was at first worrisome, then rather pleasant. Something happened, though, and I'm not sure when. I just know something is different.
I'll figure it out, I hope. Perhaps Kerai knows, though I'm so embarrassed she saw me like that. In my musings, I nearly run into the poor man in the streets.
"Oh!" At least I didn't actually run into him, but it was a close thing. "Pardon me, I wasn't paying any attention at all."
His disorientation with this place in general was only exacerbated when he took in the appearance of the man speaking to him. He looked like he belonged on a stage, in a theater, reciting a lengthy monologue to a captive audience. He didn't look like he belonged...here. Then again, Rossi didn't belong here, either.
"No, it's...okay," he murmured. "I'm uh, just trying to figure out where I am."
"Not by choice," he noted, turning his head left, and then right, looking for signs of anything familiar.
The name of the village sounded like something he'd read in a fiction book, and he had no recollection of a place like that existing in the world as he knew it.
Spencer looked up from his notes in the lab just in time to see him walking down the streets, a confused look on his face. He paused, examining the man. The age seemed right, as well as the posture and the clothing. It seemed like Rossi, but he had been wrong before. He thought some entirely different woman was Ashley Seaver, though Rachel admittedly didn't dress like Ashley or have her mannerisms. He felt more confident that this man in the street was David Rossi. Only one way to find out.
He set down his notes and descended the stairs, out into the road where the befuddled man was trying to read the shop signs around him.
"David Rossi?"
[OOC - Just FYI, Reid's canon point is the end of S6, so he doesn't know about Emily really being alive. I'm not against that bomb being dropped on him at some point, it's just more of an FYI for you lol.]
When you worked with people in such close proximity for almost five years, you reached a point where you could pick out their voice even in a crowd. There weren't a lot of people around, but that familiar voice sliced through the loud din of his own thoughts. He didn't even have to turn around, though he did, just to assure himself he wasn't imagining things.
"Reid?" It looked like it was a normal day for the younger agent, like nothing was particularly amiss, though he was obviously surprised to see Rossi. "Where are we? And how did you get here?"
[ OOC - Oooh, okay, I will keep that in mind for sources of future angst. ]
That was all a very long story, and Spencer was trying to figure out how to explain it to a skeptical seasoned FBI profiler.
"We're.. um.. not in DC anymore. You're probably going to be skeptical of this when I tell you, and I understand because I was skeptical myself. Actually I'm skeptical of everything, but you know that. I thought the team was working a case here and I just couldn't find anyone else-"
He was skeptical, Reid had that right. He still wasn't entirely convinced this wasn't some elaborate dream, but nothing too bizarre had happened yet. Under duress, sleep-deprived, still reeling from the blow of Carolyn's death; it was all enough to play with someone's mind, certainly.
"And I just...walked here." The dubiousness was apparent in his voice.
After that weekend, Anna just wanted to return to normalacy as soon as possible. It wasn't so bad compared to the rest of the strange things that had happened, but it was still unnerving having to 'relearn' english all over again.
One such step was to dress in 'modern' attire, and opt for a skirt, blouse and coat, rather than any gowns from home, and take a short bike ride before work.
She was pulling in to her shop when she blinked, and saw someone standing in the street, looking fairly confused.
Atleast she didn't 'nearly' run them over.
"Pardon me." she called out. "I don't suppose you're lost."
"That is what I've gathered. You have that look about you." It was a mere observation, one that she recognized by now.
"You're in a village called Haruvatat. I don't know if it's by magic or some other design, but it does that: picking up people from their lives and having them arrive here.
"My name is Anna Herzog." It felt strange to go by her family name, instead of 'where she was from', but after finding herself a child over the weekend-why not.
"David Rossi," he answered, when she said her name. He couldn't deny that he looked lost, really. Looking around, checking for street signs, or anything familiar, certainly made someone appear out of place, and new.

Painfully evident.

At least he doesn't seem angry so far.
"You're in a village called Haurvatat. I was brought here from somewhere else even as you just were." The basics. Then let him ask questions.

"You were brought...from where, exactly?"

"Lost...is accurate. I'm nowhere near where I thought I was."
