This brimming Christmas cheer in me started when I began Christmas shopping. I like buying gifts for people more than I like buying things for myself. (Sometimes that's a total lie but in all that's good in the festive season I speak nothing but the truth here.) However I'm always unable to make up my mind at the shelves. Same thing happens when I order at the counter. Thank you Quinzos guy for offering to recommend me a sub today and making my life that much easier.
Met up with Lunz and Hanz today for some shopping. T'was good hanging out with 'em especially when we meet up with the rest it's always only over a meal. It may seem a tad odd to you but I miss small things like walking from class to the caf with them. Just that being in school & school uniform feeling. We spent a massive amount of time in bookstores this afternoon but I love how nerdy we all are, lingering around the Physics or Science sections going gaga over books we chance upon. I was about to buy this encyclopedia like book called Earth that cost 50 bucks because it had pictures and I think I'd feel smarter just owning it. Oh and I saw The Interpretation Of Dreams by Sigmund Freud, the illustrated version @ 45 bucks. There was one about a crash course on current events. Like wow that's just the summary of the World section of The Straits Times over about ten years. How awesome would that be, especially since I haven't touched the papers since ... newspaper reading period in upper sec. Right so anyway they're probably the best 2 people to visit a bookstore with. On a side note, I swear army boys have more friends than I do. Both of them ran into army friends everywhere and there was this instant outside Starbucks where they each met someone they knew so there was a I-need-to-bump-into-a-friend-now-too moment. Hence, I did what awkward situations call for. Tweet.
Christmas Christmas Christmas. Redo had an early Christmas party earlier this week at Michelle's crib. T'was so cute I felt like I was at a kid's birthday party heehee. It's nice to not have to worry about where to go next so we don't hog tables at crowded places or when Jer makes the find a space and sit on the floor suggestion. Would have been even better if the missing people came though.
Caroling! Imma miss caroling with Jer, Gladdy & Evelyn!
My Christmas is still missing a piece but that hole'd be filled in tomorrow so I can hardly wait! Genia & Q, we wish you were here with us. Love like rockets.
