You are now reading the LiveJournal of a Specialist Assistant at Camp Aaron at JCC Camps in Medford, specifically on the theatre staff. Yay, summer job!!! :)
Yea...my interview on Friday went really well, and Brian called me "a little bundle of theatre joy." He liked that I was energetic and excited about working there, and I always thought I was a good interviewee anyway, so I wasn't really nervous (after I found the place, lol). He liked me right off the bat and I even told him about a few of the days I'd be missing in July but he didn't seem phased by it. He said he could see me fitting in with the staff and just had to give some people a call. He called my old boss from The Rainbarrel and this girl Jill who I work with at Student Ambassadors who also works at JCC. He said she raved about me and when I saw her today she was like, "I told him, 'Hire her!!'" Sweetheart. So sure enough, Brian called me this morning and told me that I was hired and that he's looking forward to me bringing my energy to the staff. :) :)
Absolutely made my day.
Not to mention the tour was good today despite the heat, and I'm working extra hours on the Friday Open House. I really don't know what this Open House if for, considering we had three Destination Towsons last week. I dunno. All I know is, I'm making money so I can afford to go to Florida this summer, yay!
