Vertigo crew powers

Feb 28, 2005 08:34

I didn't expect any of my Vertigo crew (the last lot in the Pipitea cast list) to have powers, but three of them do...even if two of them aren't technically part of the Vertigo crew, but are in fact, Vertigo relatives. :P

Alicia and Nessa both have a kind of sixth sense for large catastrophes, though Nessa's is more human-based and Alicia's is more natural-disasteresque. Alicia tends to go "OMG this is not happening" because of her bubble complex, but then it does happen and she guilt trips. Nessa's more like "Whee! Shall go film!" and then she later sells the footage to the highest bidder.

Cal's interesting. He can link your emotions and physical wellbeing to his so that whatever he's feeling, you feel threefold, at the price of having that emotion last twice as long for him. If he's feeling remotely meh-ish and he links you, you will feel miserable. His happiness will be your ecstasy. His pain will be your agony, his health will be your healing. He linked me this morning, why he was cutting at 6:30AM I don't know, but I got an ubernosebleed of DOOM and he started guilt tripping over it. He doesn't know what's going on, or how he's doing it. At the moment his links are accidental, like this morning's. This can be very dangerous.

I would go into more detail on Nessa's business style but I think the bell's about to ring. :P
