Musewhipped alert!
I get to school over half an hour early purely to use the Internet. Part of said Internet usage is for this. That is sad.
That being said, I seem to be developing a Muse backlog of sorts. Still need to bring in Brookelin and Aroha and already got four newbies jumping the queue purely because they're not future kids yet to be conceived.
They're actually characters from Vertigo (with a few differences, like the silly love polygon's gone and one's got a random sibling and there's no earthquake), but what the hell.
1) Bronwyn Kerr, 17, Year 13 Girls' girl. In Sera's class, there's a mutual antagonism on there. Sassy, tomboyish, skank extraordinaire, this tendency to go through boys like a teenager on Telecom goes through their monthly 500 txts. Despite this, she hangs out with guys, especially as she doesn't get on well with girls. Hell, her best friends (below) are guys. Sings and plays guitar. Addicted to bubblegum and lip gloss. Skateboards. Body model Holly Valance.
2) Russell Wakefield, 16, Year 13 Spat's boy. One of Bronwyn's besties (they have a little non-sexual threesome). American and a little bit Spanish, lived in New York, but his dad was abusive and his mum divorced him and brought him and his sisters out to Welly just before he hit Year 7 (start of 1999/end of 1998). Bi, anorexic. Classically trained in piano but dabbles in keyboard. On the second XV (second highest school rep rugby team) and also plays cricket and soccer. Used to be fairly confident and outgoing but has been suffering a bit in the self esteem stakes. Body model Josh Hartnett.
3) Calix Nielsen, 17, Year 13 Coll boy. The last part of the Threesome. Badboy, sarcastic knowitall, actually a closet geek. Skateboards with Bron, plays cricket, rugby, and guitar, has a motorcycle. Left-handed, always wears black jelly bracelets on his left wrist and a cuff on his right. Bi. Had a twin sister called Briar who died of anorexia nervosa in Year 8 (late 2000). Body model Drew Fuller (his Vertigo body model is Ian Somerhalder but he's taken and Drew Fuller has a scary resemblance to him anyway).
4) Sadie Kerr, 21, model in Auckland. Bronwyn's older sister, though as she lives and works in Auckland, they don't see each other too often, but she does visit sometimes. Was friends with Sera in 2001 until graduation at the end of the year. Has a thing for pop music and turns up at Top of the Pops every.single.week and also supports minority rights. "Speaks" NZ Sign Language, which explains why she got on with Sera. Body model Linda Martellini.
