A Game for Two
“Pfft-“ Sungmin entered the room to see Kyuhyun in front of his laptop, hand covering his mouth to muffle his laughter.
Kyuhyun looked up to see Sungmin staring at him.
“What are you doing?”
Kyuhyun grinned.
“Just checking out UFO posts… The fans are really hilarious. Look at this one!”
Sungmin peered at the screen where Kyuhyun had highlighted a post.
“Oppa~ Why don’t you ever reply to my posts? Please write something! Even if it’s a dot I’ll be very happy~”
Sungmin’s eyes widened. He looked at Kyuhyun, who was trying his very best to keep a straight face. His face muscles suddenly looked like they were warring with each other. His cheek muscles shivered slightly while his lips were twitching, a half-smile on his face. The result was an expression so constipated Kyuhyun looked like he was about to burst.
Sungmin’s laughter bubbled up his throat and to Kyuhyun’s shock, Sungmin gave a loud guffaw and collapsed onto his bed, his whole body shaking with laughter.
“Hyung! Uh, was the UFO post that hilarious?”
Sungmin was still laughing his head off.
Kyuhyun stood up and went over to Sungmin’s bedside. He bent down to inspect his hyung.
“Sungmin-ah! Are you alright??”
Sungmin giggled a bit more before finally calming down enough to answer Kyuhyun.
“Yes I’m fine Kyu. And no it wasn’t the post..it was..pffttt…”
Kyuhyun’s expression of confusion and worry only made Sungmin laugh again.
Sungmin stood up as he was laughing, wanting to leave their room so he could calm down outside. As he stood up, he accidentally stepped onto Kyuhyun’s laptop cable.
“AH-whoa.” Sungmin was stopped from kissing the floor as Kyuhyun grabbed him around the waist and steadied him.
Sungmin felt Kyuhyun’s chin on his shoulder. They were now in a sort of backhug, if not for the space between them.
“Kyuhyun ah, what are you doing?”
“This.”
Kyuhyun pulled his hyung towards him into a proper hug.
“Hyung, do you know why I barely reply to UFO posts?”
Sungmin’s heart rate had increased significantly when he heard Kyuhyun’s low whisper.
“Why? Too busy gaming? Haha…”
Sungmin couldn’t move at all - Kyuhyun was holding him so tightly.
“Too busy worrying about what you would think hyung. Too busy…”
Kyuhyun put his mouth next to Sungmin’s ear
“…thinking of you…”
Just as sudden as Kyuhyun’s words were, Sungmin suddenly found himself able to move. Kyuhyun had let go of him and had turned back to his laptop. He was shutting down the laptop when he found himself being hugged from the back.
“Kyuhyunnie~”( Inner Sungmin was laughing his head off - two could play this game...)
Kyuhyun’s hair stood on end - not because Sungmin the Aegyo King was doing aegyo but because he heard something in Sungmin’s lilting tone. Something that was definitely not mere teasing.
“Yes hyung?”
“There’s something I need to tell you,” Sungmin whispered into Kyuhyun’s ear.
Kyuhyun’s goosebumps were threatening to take over his body.
Still whispering into Kyuhyun’s ear, Sungmin said very, very, slowly…
“I…”
“Love…”
Kyuhyun’s heartrate was probably twice as fast as Sungmin’s had been earlier.
Sungmin grinned as Kyuhyun stiffened in his arms. This was going to be fun…
“PINK!”
“OUCH! HYUNG!!!!”
Kyuhyun wriggled out of Sungmin’s arms in an attempt to save his eardrums from Sungmin’s shriek right next to his ear. Sungmin stood there grinning at him.
“Tit for tat, Cho Kyuhyun.”
Kyuhyun smirked. Inside, he was partly devastated, partly amused. “Bet I’ve influenced you into playing games, have I?”
Sungmin put his hands on his hips and pouted (Inner Kyuhyun was going crazy at this moment).
“You’re not winning this one maknae.”
“Oh but I will,” Kyuhyun said very calmly as he stepped towards Sungmin.
Sungmin stood his ground - he did not want to lose this…game. Kyuhyun was coming dangerously close to him. Not wanting to appear scared, Sungmin scoffed at him.
“Oh really?”
Kyuhyun smirked again. Then he kissed Sungmin in true ninja fashion - a touch of their lips and nothing more.
“I always win the games hyung,” Kyuhyun said to his roommate, who looked like a tomato.
