So yesterday was kinda boring (keyword being day). We marched all day at band camp. March march march. Thats all. We played music, I think. All I remember is marching.
So then after marching band, and by after I mean RIGHT after, I went to the Attleboro T Station to take the T into Boston.
But why would Colin go to Boston on a Thursday night? you ask.
Simple: because Hootie and the Blowfish we giving a FREE CONCERT.
Thats right: Free.
But it gets better.
But what could be better than a free Hootie and the Blowfish concert? you also ask.
Another simple answer: watching this free concert with two of the coolest people ever: Bryana and Caitlin Mitchell.
It was so freaking awesome.
So I met Bry and her sister at South Station around 7. They were running late, and the concert started at 7, so we took the subway to Goverment Center (where the concert was). We got there in time to see some crappy country/rock band finishing up. We had good standing positions too: we could see the whole stage. Then Hootie came on and it was awesome. I knew most of the songs. :) Bry and Cait didn't, but thats ok: they're newbies.
There were like four encores too, and each time they said goodnight, people began to file out so us three crept forward. It was tight! They played a really amazing version of Hold My Hand (a personal fave of mine).
