Kilted Controversy

n the Bishop Feehan High School Student Handbook, the dress code rules are as follows: "Boys' Dress Requirements: Solid color tan pants fastened at the waist with a belt. Girls' Dress Requirements: Skirt or solid color tan slacks." I do not have a problem with the pants or the skirts; my problem, however, lies in regards to the "or". The female students are given the option of the Donnelly's skirt or the Donnelly's pants. While many female students will complain the pants are "uncomfortable", "ugly", or "are really the guys' pants", they are still given the option. The male students, on the other hand, must be confined to choosing between tan Donnelly's pants
