i am not sure if i can i help you in your search for direction but i can definitely be a friend. :)
"ayaw ko na maging pakawala" -- i hope you're serious about this. i read your recent entries and it seems that you have been 'fooling around'. don't get me wrong, ok? i am not passing judgment. live and let live, di ba? but based on the stories and thoughts you shared here in LJ, it seems that life has indeed been quite hard on you. i just hope that the unfortunate events in your life have made you stronger and smarter. always be in control of your life at ingat lang lagi para maiwasan ang pagsisisi sa huli. do i make sense? hehe! sana.
hey, you have friends who are now (jesuit) seminarians, right? can you please ask them (or perhaps you already know) if alumni masses are still being held at the gesu every 1st and 3rd sunday of the month? it's been a while since i attended the alumni mass. i really want to go this sunday in case meron pa. fr. caluag who initiated this activity already left the society so i am not sure if the alumni office already made this a regular event for (us) alumni. thanks in advance! ;)
i actually took a chance and went to the ateneo yesterday. got there just in time for the alumni mass which fr. nebres officiated.
UAAP season will be starting this week so it was a send-off mass for the athletes. i even saw norman black together with our basketball team. saw some other familiar faces but i decided not to socialize. i just felt happy getting the chance to hear mass even if i went there alone.
i used to attend the alumni masses with my best friend. sadly, he passed away last march and it was the first time i heard mass again at the gesu without him to join me. the experience was a bit emotional. tried to hold back tears. i know deep inside that he is now in better company.
took a tour of the college campus after the mass. it really felt like a 'homecoming' to me. will try to attend the alumni masses on a regular basis.
