Training starts today
After watching the runners, this past weekend, in Florida, Max is asking every day if there is a race to watch. He really got into cheering strangers on! I told him that, unfortunately, the next one isn't for a few months, Florida-time, which got me the lower lip.
However, when I told him that the next race is the Star Wars marathon, he lit up like the Lurlinemas star! So, thanks to a few calls and Cindy's help, we were able to sneak Maxie into the lineup and he's now registered for the kids' race.
He's going to start working out with me, before school. We won't be running as far as I usually do, but it seems to have brought him out of the funk the movie put him in, so I'm taking it.
We're going to start here, though, because it's too cold for him to be running around in Florida, right now.
