FINALLY, Stargate gets the recognition it deserves! Entertainment Weekly has SG-1 next week as the "Must Watch of the Week" on page 131 of this week's double issue (891/2--James Bonds covers). I quote here:
After two networks, 10 years, and multiple cast changes, Stargate SG-1 celebrates its 200th episode with a love note to the fans. The plot revolves around the SG-1 team tweaking a sci-fi movie script, but that's all just an excuse for self-mockery ("All these writers and they couldn't come up with anything better?" askes Amanda Tapping), winks to science-fiction clichés like alternate universes, and the return of former cast members. Diehards will be over the moon, and hey, newbies: no better time to become a 'gate crasher. A --Paul Katz
