Saturday evening
Had a very nice date on Friday night. The Knoxville Symphony concert was spectacular. Here is a link to the program notes. I loved it all--and the TN Theatre really is quite acoustically brilliant for a symphony concert. Can't believe that the KSO had to use the Knoxville Civic Auditorium for so many years. What a dingy hall that was compared to the TT! Wow, there really is no comparison.
Tonight, I attended a church choir picnic for several hours, and had a very splendid time chatting with everyone. It was so nice to be surrounded by strong, Christian folks and to end the Fall season with a large bonfire with roasted marshmellows. :)
You know.... I love God--He comes up with the grandest ideas ever. My faith is renewed and gets stronger with every passing day. I'm wondering what lies in store next week! I am looking forward to taking a Sabbath Day on Friday evening-Saturday afternoon. I may fast one of the days this week, not sure.
