There is so much to tell!!!
A couple weekends ago I wen to visit Lauren in chicago. We had too much fun for 3 days, I think, but I will be back shortly. We did a lot of dancing, drinking, yelling, ate half a bottle of ketchup at Hot Doug's, rode bikes/mopeds, and ate banana splits at a candy store on a freezing cold night.
A couple weeks prior to visiting Lauren, I finally told my parents that I was going to quit my job, hopefully by july, so that I could go back to grad school. I hate this job. It is really great money, but it's true that money does not equate happiness. I want to be doing something I completely and totally enjoy, and I wouldn't mind making even 1/4 of what I make now. So, I take the GRE a couple weeks from now, and plan on going to grad school in chicago in September.
I found a kitty, as you know, and her new official name is Eleanor Roosevelt. I know you all think I am terrible for changing her name so often, but it's for the best. Queen Latifah didn't sound right being called off at the vet office on monday. In order for me to come home this weekend, I checked her into a pet resort. She will be getting a massage, a manicure, and a bath. I gave them a can of Fancy Feast Chicken and Gravy for her Thanksgiving meal specifically. I will make sure to send her there over Christmas too. I got a flat tire in the parking lot elaving though, gr. Anyways, I know all of you know I am allergic to cats and have never been especially fond of them, but after finding her, I love them. I am a changed girl! I love her so much and would do anything for her. Sick, huh?
I also bought a moped, and it's nice. I also FOUND a moped, but it needs fixing up, ALOT. However, I have no idea what kind it is. I'll post a picture later and if you have any ideas, let me know.
Thanksgiving was nice with the family. I shopuld have missed my plane. I had 8 minutes to get through security after I checked in, but the line looked like Cedar Point opening day. I started bawling, and security came and got me and I mentioned my flat tire (not a lie, necessarily) and they ushered me through and held the plane for me and now I am home. Phew! I thought I would never make it. Time for the girls and then Toronto with Phil tomorrow.
