[The face on the PCD (not too difficult to manipulate, he finds; a little like the visions in Tomo's shells) is smooth, pretty in a slightly feminine way only enhanced by the long blond hair, but he is clearly every inch a warrior from his armor to his sturdy, muscular build

...Nakago?!

How is he to wrangle enough from her to get himself back to where his wish will matter?
Time enough for that later as he puts on a bland but sympathetic smile.]
Yui-sama. I am glad to see your face.

[Have a relieved, fond smile.]
You should probably press that button on the top of this device. It'll tell me where you are.

As you say, Yui-sama.
[He presses the button and, if she's telling the truth about its effects (which he has no doubt that she is), he can't help thinking how convenient it could be.

[Yui clicks off the feed and moves to find Nakago, almost overflowing with happiness. She knows on some level that it's selfish to wish this fate on others, but she can't help it... besides, wouldn't Nakago want to be here for her?]
[Within a few minutes she's approaching at a jog, practically throwing herself into his arms, for once disregarding his obvious distaste at physical displays of affection.]

When it comes to her, the priestess with the power to realize his vengeance completely, he has always been affectionate in turn when the situations have demanded it, and now is no exception. He enfolds her gently in his arms.]
There, Yui-sama. What troubles you so?
[He thinks at first it must be some other complaint about Miaka or Tamahome.]

[She... actually has to choke back a sob at that. For all that she tries to make the best of this place (mostly for Usagi), she really has been very lonely.]
I'm not making any sense, am I? [Surreptitious sniffle.] We're trapped indefinitely in this place called Adstringendum, Nakago. Creatures called the Animus have brought us here against our will, along with people from other worlds. Amiboshi is here too.

This means time does not flow the same between worlds; he may be able to put his time here to good use after all. Months for the girl were only moments to him, after all. He can use this place to amass the power he needs.
Only one other seishi here, though. Summoning Seiryuu will become... difficult. Well, he'd figure something out. He always did.]
Have no fear. Am I not with you now? Perhaps the others will even arrive, or we will find some other way to summon Seiryuu even here. Then the rest will be easy.

I don't know, Nakago... it's strange, here. Time at home stops while we're here, and when we go back, we don't remember anything that happened here--it's all undone. And we can't reach people at home from here--that's why I couldn't contact you. There's no Shinzaho here... and I don't know that we could get lucky enough to find the rest of the celestial warriors here... and even if we did, I don't know that any summoning we did here or wishes we made would make any difference.
[She's thought all of this through, Nakago. Many times. She's been pretty desperate.]

If he can find a way to maintain it. Yui doesn't sound too promising about that, but well. He's done impossible things before. Isn't he here to rejoin her? He'll certainly tell her so a thousand times.]
No matter. Perhaps it's for the best. Our time here takes away nothing from our time at home. We have the leisure to find another route back that will permit us to bring with us whatever we desire.

We will deal with these as they come. Have you been provided with comfortable quarters, Yui-sama? We would do better to hold our conversation in private.
