So yeah, I've been gone for about forever and a day. Sorry people! Here's a real entry to make up for it! ^_^;
I've recently borrowed an old game called "Graffiti Kingdom" from a friend that me and Thomas met at that one furmeet a couple months ago, and it's as awesome as it is annoying. At least to me, and you'll know why in just a second. :3
It's a fun and cute game, starring a young boy who doesn't like being liked by the other little boy in the game. You have a magic paint rod...thingy that brings what you draw to life. For the purposes of this game that means you draw creatures that you can turn into to get through the worlds. It's like Second Life's building function except that you're making creatures, and the more you level up, the more tools you get to use. And yes, you're making 3D models.
You can also use your Graffiti Wand to "capture" enemy creatures. What this means is that while you're human, you can hit an enemy with your wand to temporarily become that enemy! This isn't always as awesome as it sounds, since it's very easy to accidently use a moving attack (tackle, spin attack, dash) and fly off a cliff into oblivion. But what makes it worth it is that you get to keep any new attacks that you find by transforming into enemies. The game even lets you know beforehand if an enemy has a new attack! You really need to do this though if you want to get through the game, as this is the only way to collect attacks for your creations. As you defeat enemies, there's also a chance that they will drop a card that has their creation data on it, so that you can use their forms whenever you want, or just recolor and build upon them to make better creatures.
I'm only at about half of the second world and it's fun. I haven't been making many things though since I'm waiting till I get more functions before I go crazy with my creations. So far my most useful thing is a giant yellow ball that has a 'Y' on the front, with a trailing silver mohawk highlighted by a single orange stripe, two broken purple legs, and long lobster claws. If you wanted to I guess you could even make walking obsenities and affronts to nature that shoot lightening (since there's an attack for that). I recommend this game for anyone that likes making things and then watching their creations beat the shit out of everything else. There's even a two-player versus mode. :3
