My absence: Explained

Oct 05, 2009 12:35

My computer got a virus a couple weeks ago, so yeah. My brother-in-law still hasn't fixed it yet because he's working two jobs so I've been having to use the computer here at school before my Flash Animation class starts. Which means I can't really look at my friends page since some..."unsavory" things might be on there. =X Anyway, sorry I haven't really been talking to any of you guys online or anything, up until a few weeks ago that was entirely my fault. -_-;

So, with all my new spare time I've been playing Star Ocean: Till the End of Time again, as well as finally starting up Baroque again. Baroque is actually interesting if you play it enough. The story's kinda trippy though, mostly in a good way. The more you die (either by clearing the tower or actually dying), you reveal more of the story. I've been playing on easy mode, so I've been seeing the archangel on the 13th or 14th floor. Some of the enemies are annoying as hell though. Like the Gliros, they steal items from you when they attack and then immediately run away. At exactly the same speed that you run at. DX Then there's the Sin-Monis, they look like giant sack-things with lots of tiny legs. They're strong and mostly appear on the later levels of Easy Mode. They attack by constantly sucking away at either your HP or your Vitality, which pretty much leaves you fucked if you get stuck in a room full of them.

There's a real importance in identifying items before you use them, especially the bones since some of them can make you lethargic (you move extremely slow for a period of time) or can put you at exactly 1HP if you eat them. There are good ones too, and eating bones always replenishes some Vitality, but I mostly just throw them at enemies. Except for the invincibility bones, NEVER throw those at enemies.

What really sucks now that I'm on my 9th death is that now that I can obtain the main character's Idea Sephirah, I can't find the place where Eliza appears the second time, and she's the person that you have to give your Idea Sephirah to. Mrarg, I'm gonna try to find a strategy guide right now before class starts.

That's it for me people, sorry for being late and alienated from you all!
