To a friend of mine
why does she not listen
to the words of the wise
our advice she does despise
pushing us away
not listening to what we have to say
"he is perfect for me"
but what she cant see
is so much deeper then his words
he is changing her
but not for the better
a life for her no one expected
bad days everyday
why she still wont listen
no one will know
we hope she wakes up
this fantasy is to much
its pushing her away
telling her not to stay
people start to notice
approach is everyday
asking what has happened
to the friend we used to know
now its getting worse
her thoughts beginning to wander
wishing her life with him proceeds
we all know she will never succeed
living the life he leads
you used to be so much fun
look at what he has done
we don't want to say goodbye
