A/N: This took forever to write, I had it pictured in my head so beautifully, but writing it is another story. Maybe I should be a producer or directer =) hahahaha Enjoy! oh and if you repeatedly listen to "Desert Foxes" by John Powell, it's even better (I tried to write it with the music) Anyways start the music when you read *start the music* It's more interesting that way =)
The boys, which were all dressed in black, gathered around the grassy area in front of the dormitories. Taemin looked in Minho’s direction, he wanted to make this game a little bit more interesting.
“For proof, you have to remove an article of clothing from the person that was hiding,” Taemin said with satisfaction, looking for a reaction from Minho. The older boy put on a poker face. It’s always fun when their difficult, the youngest thought.
“Sounds fair,” Sungmin said cooly. He was tempted to remove Kyuhyun’s pants and make him walk in his underwear in the cold. An evil smirk gradually appeared on his face.
“So do we have everyone,” Kyuhyun said eagerly. He looked at Yesung, then Donghae, and finally at Taemin.
“4 against 4,” Sungmin said looking at his members; Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, and Minho. He glanced at the huge clock tower, it was thirty-five minutes until twelve.
“Ready?” Minho displayed a cocky smile, “We’ll give you five minutes to hide.”
“Always ready,” Taemin replied, putting on his black sunglasses. The rest of his team did the same thing. “First you have to turn around and no peaking,” the boy teased.
Sungmin’s team turned around obediently, while Kyuhyun’s team huddled and quickly communicated using sign language.
Donghae would hide in the second floor of the girls building, Yesung in the parking lot, Taemin in the outdoor lounge area in between the two main dormitory buildings, and Kyuhyun would scout on top of the roof for Sungmin’s team. That way he can warn the rest and redirect them. Within a minute the boys dispersed to their hiding spots.
“Pretty boy is mine,” Sungmin claimed, looking at his watch.
“I’ll get the one with the long orangish-brown hair,” Minho said with determination.
“I won’t mind stripping down the boy with long straight black hair,” Ryeowook said mischievously.
“Then that leaves me with the short-spiky-black haired boy,” Eunhyuk said plainly.
“Alright, five minutes are up. Activate the walkie-talkies,” Sungmin commanded. They all pressed the “on” button on their watches. “You two,” the leader pointed at Ryeowook and Eunhyuk, “look in the girl’s dormitory, while we,” Sungmin said pointing at himself and Minho, “will look in the boy’s dormitory.” The boys all nodded their head and began seeking.
And thus, the chase began. *start the music*
Kyuhyun was already stationed on the roof top watching Sungmin’s team spreading out.
“Looks like two of them are going to the girl’s dormitory and the other two are going to the boy’s. Donghae be on the look out and you too, Taemin,” Kyuhyun warned via the sunglasses.
“Got it,” Donghae replied.
“I hear you loud and clear,” the youngest answered.
Kyuhyun looked at his watch, thirty minutes to twelve. They can do it.
Meanwhile, Sungmin was looking in the boy’s bathroom of the boy’s dormitory when the light bulb in his head came on. His phone, the boy thought. He took out his phone and went to the pretty boy’s contact information. I hope it’s on. He looked around carefully before he clicked a button on his watch. The visual computer screen came on. The boy typed the number in and successfully tracked Kyuhyun’s location by using the boy’s phone number. Obviously, wherever the phone was is where Kyuhyun was as well. Amateur, Sungmin huffed as the coordinates pointed to the section of the building the phone was hiding. He must be on the roof, no one looks there. Sungmin’s heart began to race as he eagerly ran towards the stairs.
Kyuhyun was looking at his watch again twenty-five minutes until 12 and so far none of Sungmin’s member were in view. His heart was racing with adrenaline, where could they be now. The boy was anxious because it was even harder to see at night, especially when everyone is wearing all black.
“Donghae where are you?” Kyuhyun asked desperately, seeking for some information on the situation.
“I’m still on the second floor of the girl’s dormitory,” the fish replied back.
“You should evacuate. The girl’s dormitory isn’t safe, get out of there.” Kyuhyun sternly said. Little did he know that Sungmin was listening behind the door. The boy’s eyes glittered, so he is the leader, the boy thought. Immediately Sungmin contacted Ryeowook and Eunhyuk.
Whispering, Sungmin told them to search the exits of the girl’s dormitory and to be out of view because pretty boy was watching them from the roof top. The boys split up and went to the only two exits of the building. Just then, Eunhyuk spotted some type of movement as he hid behind the wall next to the exit. Donghae was running down stairs, he was looking around left and right while running towards the exit. He was about to reached the door handle, only inches away, when sudden someone grabbed his shirt and swung him into the wall.
“Got ya,” Eunhyuk smiled, taking Donghae’s beanie from his head.
Donghae pouted. “It’s not even ten minutes yet,” he said while shutting off his sunglasses.
On the other side, Ryeowook was notified about the boy’s capture. He was now sneaking through the bushes towards the boy’s dormitory, hidden from Kyuhyun’s view. Minutes passed by and the boy was starting to feel anxious because he saw no one. Where can they be hiding, he question himself, his thoughts were momentarily interrupted when a car alarm went off. Bingo, he thought as he quietly rushed towards the parking lot, still hiding in the shadows of the night. Eyeing for any movement in the parking lot, immediately Ryeowook saw the boy running.
Yesung was cursing at the car. Stupid car alarm, he thought as he sprinted across the parking lot. Ryeowook ran out in the open towards the rows of cars in the parking lot, looking for the source of the commotion. Immediately, Kyuhyun warned Yesung about Ryeowook. The younger was chasing him through the parking lot now.
It’s still not over, I can out run him, the boy thought determinately.
Ryeowook seem to read his mind, luckily his car was only a few feet away. His mind went racing, debating whether he should use his car or not. Finally the boy took out his keys and started the engine. Yesung was still running hard when he heard the sound of an engine roaring behind him, he looked back, crap...it’s a sports car. He ran even faster, but it was no use as the pretty-little-yellow car was catching up to him in no time. Cleverly, he cut across into the next row, smiling at the trapped boy. Ryeowook got out of the car and began cutting through the cars as well, running towards him. Yesung’s smile instantly disappeared, are you kidding me, he broke into a sprint once again.
Ryeowook was smiling confidently because he can hear the boy’s short and raspy breaths. Yesung’s legs were giving up on him as he forced oxygen into his lungs, his heart was ready to explode from exhaustion. He ran up the sidewalk and fell, rolling on the grass gasping for air and closing his eyes. He looked up to see the boy smiling, “And where do you think you’re going?” Yesung closed his eyes again, breathing heavily as he felt a pair of soft hands gently removing his black vest.
Kyuhyun witnessed the entire scene from the rooftop. He looked again at his watch ten minutes until twelve. It was now up to Taemin and himself.
“Taemin do you see anyone?” Kyuhyun asked anxiously.
“Of course, I see movement on the west side of the boy’s dormitory. He going downstairs, probably searching the first floor again.”
“Hummmmmm west side, that’s still far away from where you are,” Kyuhyun commented, strategically trying to map out the situation. He wasn’t going to lose, he couldn’t.
Sungmin quietly giggled and whispered to Minho, “I’ve found your target, he’s somewhere on the east side of the boy’s dormitory. And be more careful because he has good eyes, you’ve been spotted,” the boy warned.
“Thanks,” Minho replied, “I’ll be more careful.” The boy rapidly hid behind the wall away from the windows. He took out his binoculars and set them on thermal reading. Right away a red blob was highlighted from the cold blue surroundings.
“You’re mine, now,” Minho said with a grin. In a flash he silently made his escaped.
Taemin was looking intently at the windows, he noticed there wasn’t any movement for a long time. Maybe he’s not there any more, the youngest questioned. Confused, he decided it was best to find out for himself. Using the bushes as a shield he was moving towards the building. He looked around and when the coast was clear he rolled out of the bushes into a spot underneath a table in the plaza. He took off his sunglass and stuck them underneath the table. Minho was smiling to himself, that kid watches too many spy movies.
Kyuhyun’s heart was racing once again as he saw Taemin heading towards the building, what is that idiot doing?
Taemin ran towards the entrance of the building, sneaking in quietly. Where could he be? Little did he know that Minho was following his every move, thinking of a way to trap him.
The younger sneaked up stairs and decided to look inside the boy’s bathroom. Minho was beaming. Perfect, he said to himself because he was now blocking the only way out. Taemin turned his head around at the sound of the door opening, his heart was instantly beating fast as he was thinking of a way out. Minho opened the door and was surprised to find no one there, but he just came in. The boy was hiding behind the door, Taemin was ready to make his escape when Minho spotted him.
In a flash, the younger raced out the door with Minho chasing him. Taemin was on the edge of the stairs when he abruptly stopped, Minho crashed into him and they went rolling down the staircase together. Minho wrapped his arms around the boy like a metal cage, protecting him. When they stopped rolling, Taemin opened his eyes to find Minho on top of him. He smiled, “I guess I surrender.”
Minho looked into his eyes. “You have no choice,” he said with a smirk. The boy slowly began to get up because his body was aching from the fall.
Taemin was laughing at his comment. “The name’s Taemin, by the way.”
“Minho,” the boy said, lending a hand to the younger boy, who was still on the floor. He looked at the boy’s ring. Once Taemin was on his two feet, Minho let go of his hand, but took the ring at the same time.
“I’ll be taking this,” Minho said deviously, putting the ring on his ring finger. It fit perfectly.
The boy was disappointed, he wanted Minho to take his shirt off. Oh well, it’s a start, Taemin thought to himself eying his ring on Minho's finger. He subconsciously smiled.
Meanwhile, Sungmin was ready to end the game. Frantically pacing back and forth, Kyuhyun couldn’t keep still. He was thinking about different ways to help Taemin. He jumped at the sound of his phone ringing. Then the door to the rooftop suddenly opened, revealing a grinning Sungmin on the phone. Kyuhyun mentally cursed himself for forgetting to turn his phone off.
“That was easy,” Sungmin smirked, shutting his phone off.
Kyuhyun looked at his watch five minutes to twelve. Crap! He was about to make a run for it when Sungmin tackled him to the ground. They wrestled until Sungmin successful unbutton Kyuhyun’s pants and slipped them off. The cold hit Kyuhyun’s boxers instantly, causing him to shiver.
Sungmin grinned in pleasure, “I win.”
