My Saturday
We went out bike-less today. We met at Somerset MRT which has changed sooo much, we felt lost. We bought tix to 10000BC at Cine, had 3 1/2 hours to spare before movie started at 735pm.
Went to one of our fave malay food stall at Centerpoint, but it was no longer there. We wanted to eat McD but the one at Centerpoint is forever busy. He suddenly had cravings for pizza, but the pizza but store in Centerpoint was no longer there. HOW SAD. Nak carik tempat makan pun susah. We walked all the way to Lucky Plaza and I was starting to be tired, hungry, lazy and angry. He wanted to carry me but I said, 'Jgn merepek." How embarrassing to be carried in the public. Haha.
We ordered a meal for 2, 6 piece drumlets and breadstik. I savoured the soup. I was super hungry. We were super hungry.
Is it ok if I do not want to pay for the service tax if I don't feel I was getting good service? :D
Walked around cine before movie, which was ok I guess. The 1st 1/2 hr of the movie was a torture cos this guy in front of me, was super tall and his head was covering 3/4 of my view. One thing that I always worry about when I watch movies, is not how good or bad the movies wil be, but who will be sitting in front of me.
We walked all the way to Douby Ghaut after movie, bought drinks and spent a good 15 mins looking at the map of town and singapore at the mrt station. Haha. He showed me routes he takes from work to my workplace, from my house to his. From Jrg to Changi when he works there in the future.
While being in separate trains on our way home, he was lamenting about the crowd in the train, how he wished he rode, how lost he was in walking to the east-west line. Tu lah, you should take public more often. :)
Got home to news that Man Utd is out of the FA CUP.
What a sad ending to an otherwise good day!
