Christmas, unimaginatively

Dec 24, 2007 16:54

I am as usuall full of excitement because its christmas eve, I assume this is just picking up on the general buzz of the western world because I am not a christian and therefore the festival itself is not an important religious holiday to me. It does feel good though, mostly.

It seems that lots of people use christmas as an excuse not to do thier jobs which is particularly bad news when their job is looking after others. My department is the place people come when everyone else says "no"( I have had so many little britain moments today!)

I guess there is a little Baa humbug in us all, perhaps its the paradox of this and general goodwill that makes this time of year so interesting.
Anyway I hope it challenges me to do better and look at what makes me rant and why?
(Hay that seems like a good New Years resolution)
