Matthew Parkman is downstairs sitting at the bar and staring at the wall.
"...If I were to tell you that holding me against my will-would that have any effect on you at all?"
Bar says nothing.
"...Unlawful imprisionment? Ever see that movie with Anthony Hopkins and Ted Strathamore-" Poor Matt can never remember the name of movies, just the actors in them.
Bar still says nothing.
"...Wife..Family...job-all on the other side of that wall."
This is getting him nowhere.
"...Okay then." He snorts, "...Too bad you're not a person. I'll have coffee and a donut? One of those sprinkled ones."
Matt gets hot chocolate and a panera bagel with tomato spread.
"....Thanks."
Disgruntled cop with the barest of shields up and bar feeling slightly sadistic humorous. He could be bothered.
