A friendly note on canon
Okay.
You might notice that I'm playing Matthew Parkman from NBC's Heroes. Here's a Little humorous FAQ.
RAMEN. this is the voice of reason talking. Where the hell did this puppet come from?
I saw the comiccon pilot in July and fell in love with the character. Granted they made major changes (well somewhat) by the time it got to TV, but all the same.
I really identify with Matt, and I've been playing him for dear_multiverse for the past....two...months.

Yes well. Nobody ever credited someone with the name Clericpikachu and the internet Alias "Ramen" with an abundance of brains.

Because in November my butt belongs to the United States Coastguard. So rather then rp with you fine folks, I'll be living the glamorous life of a puddle pirate, and hopefully still rp (...you can't get rid of me that easily! MUAHAHA!)
All thet same. November my schedule's going to change drastically. I want to play Matt before then. While all of you all are in School and at your safe jobs, I will be on a cutter protecting your shores from terrorists and ....hijackers? bootleggers? drug runners?
Chances are I'll be in some office somewhere online and making posters. ALL THE SAME THOUGH.

Two months of playing the character sans spoilers are nothing. Besides. Matthew will be bound until new canon, chances are then he'll stay out as long as it takes to work through it.

...What's the deal with Matt?
...Matt is psychic. A brand new psychic He picks up on stray thoughts and responds to them like they're actually spoken. It only happens on occasion (It has to be a strong thought). He has a vague idea that something's different about him, but he doesn't know what it is.
Matt (and this is canon) is also very sensitive to mental attacks. That's only slightly spoilerish, but if you should decide to try and respond back to my poor puppet, you'll knock him out for a couple of hours.
If your puppet's a superhero/Magically inclined/etc. They'll pick up on Matt in a heartbeat. He has no hiding skillz whatosever.
...And he's a cop
Yes. A dyslexic beatcop.
They don't play that up much (yet) so I'm not going ot either. When asked, he'll simply respond that he has a hell of a time taking tests and with further prodding might admit all the problems that's caused for him. However. Matt does not admit his problems easily.
So anything we should be warned about?
He will respond to thoughts. He's spoiler free (He's a cop. He's gotta be tightlipped) but He will respond to stray thoughts, opinions about himself. BE WARNED.
