There's a 12-year-old earthbender in the park, as so often there is. She's having a pretty good day, all things considered. "All things" pretty much just being "stuck in Chicago away from Sokka and Aang and Katara". And having to ride a metal box up and down to get to and from her room or the park or wherever is... difficult. She doesn't like it.
