AHHH. I am so stressed out. Between summer reading (which I have yet to start) and applying for colleges I am just a complete wreck ! Emily and I are taking a class all this week from 8-12 on helping us write essays and resumes for our college applications. Yes, that's right we are waking up early to do work that we paid a large amount of money to do. It is helpful though so I'm glad we're doing it, not to mention our Starbucks expeditons every morning to wake us up.
It really pisses me off that I have a smaller chance of getting in to the colleges of my choice because I am white and come from a good home with money. Whereas, if I was like Asian, poor, and had some birth-defect I would get more points. That is so Ludacris ! Grr... whatever.
On a happier note, every morning on my way to Starbucks I see the same little old man walking along Mt. Helix with his radio. And now everytime he see's me he smiles and waves, and I do the same in return. Call me crazy, lame, dorky whatever but it always puts me in a good mood when I see him because it's always nice to receive a smile or a wave from someone.. just to be reminded that you arn't invisible in this crazy madhouse world.
