No Flowers
He Never Gave Me Flowers
That’s because I told him not to. I've openly expressed to him my disdain for receiving flowers. I don't want to be like the other girls who easily swoon over roses and chocolates. I'd rather be different.
There goes my story of why he never gave me flowers-not even during our last anniversary or my last birthday-
not even once.
By the time he reads this, that's the only time he'd bother. By the time he reaches our doorstep, I'd be annoyed with him and his ugly red roses. Who said I wanted roses anyway? I'll be disappointed, he'll be disappointed. We'll fight, he'll apologize and still, no flowers.
