Altered states

I think I actually managed to get into a bit of a trance just now with my breathing.  Breathe in for four counts, hold it for four counts, breathe out four, hold it out four...and repeat.  I did this for a while, while staring at a lit candle, and something started to happen.  I felt like I either could not feel my body or like it felt funny.  This is good because I've wanted to learn how to enter altered states for a while now.  However, as it's only been a few minutes since I stopped, I still feel a bit spacy...almost as if I've had a few drinks, haha!  Really cool stuff!
