Drawing Muhammad
Perhaps you have heard of Draw Muhammad Day. Speaking personally, having been Muslim for several years before becoming pagan, this issue is a little bit personally meaningful for me. During that time, it was always important to me to question taboos and accepted doctrine. Really, I could see this going either (or both) of two ways. On the one hand, it could go horribly wrong, with people using it as an opportunity/excuse to be disrespectful to the prophet of Islam. On the other, it could go well and be very productive, as different artists provide novel depictions of the prophet.
In any event, I asked the runes what would be the eventual result of this, and I got the following:
Laguz Ansuz Berkana
On the surface, that seems to suggest something about going with the flow and growth, with the Ansuz emphasizing the growth part.
I asked for more clarification of Berkana, and I got Algiz - Os - Hagalaz - Mannaz - Stan - Dagaz
This seems to suggest that there will be a challenge around speech, leading to chaos and then to Mannaz Stan Dagaz, which seems to suggest some kind of breakthrough related to community (which Stan would indicate is the keystone of the matter).
I also asked the runes what Allah thinks of all this, and I got Jera - Fehu - Dagaz. Make of that what you will...
