Holy SHIT.

That was ... that. Damn. What an awesome twist of events. Bakura befriending Yuugi and convincing Yuugi that he's the 'good' Bakura, using his own personality to shatter any trust Yuugi would have in Dark Yuugi. I just ... damn. You conveyed so much in so little words, it's incredible.

My favorite line was this: 'the man was just scratching at the door now, like a weakened cat locked outside after years of rain without end' - especially juxtaposed with the sheer ecstasy of the sex Yuugi is participating in. Dark Yuugi's insistent, pained efforts are heart-wrenching ... but I love that in the end, he doesn't cross and take control. It's too late by then, completely too late, and this is what Yuugi wanted even if it was by deception and Dark Yuugi is completely defeated by that.

Man. Amazing. I am honored to be the inspiration for this fic.

I really think that if anyone really told Yuugi what his other self was doing back in those early days - you know, the blowing people up over carnival games - Yuugi would be horrified. A lot of what's going on here is really just falling into Bakura's lap without much effort. Yuugi's so desperate for attention he doesn't think twice about clinging to the guy who jumped a bully for him on their first day of acquaintance, and Bakura's smart enough to keep the bearer of the Puzzle close ( ... )

Whoa. I guess you weren't kidding when you said that your stories were dark. Or should I say they're dark and twisted?

I'm usually not a big fan of this particular pairing but I like how you choose to portray each character. Even though it's an AU story, I felt that the characters weren't overly OOC.

I, erm, don't like this pairing either. I certainly hadn't read any of this pairing before I wrote this, but ... eh. Bakura wouldn't leave me alone.

And hooray for not being OOC! I was really afraid for Yuugi there, because he's not really a vengeful person, but under the right series of circumstances.

Heh, I felt I better start reading them or you'd be reminding me every week to do so. ^_~

Truthfully, Yami no Bakura/Yuugi fanfics are few and far between. I think people just tend to see them as being far too different to work well as a pair. *shrugs*

I think it's not too OOC if we look at it from the manga perspective as it's darker than the anime.

Haha, maybe. I'm very forgetful though, so you might have gotten away with it.

The only Dark Bakura/Yuugi stories I've seen - excepting *one* series, and this one - have all been these weird happy fluffy things that just kill my brain dead. Because, no, Dark Bakura just... I do not see happy fluffy things in his future (unless he goes to a hair stylist. And then that's the only occasion!)

Yes. Manga perspective all the way. I love how dark the early stuff is in the manga.
