Here. Personality:
Let’s start at the beginning. One day, years ago, a little girl named Minene was on vacation with her parents in the middle east when the family was caught in the crossfire of a religion-based gunfight. When it was over, Minene was alone, her parent’s corpses at her feet, now forced to live fighting for her life in a country where she couldn’t even speak the language. It was this that shaped the one main belief she came to hold: that she’d never pray to God, no matter the circumstance. Years later, she wasn’t mourning over the dead but taking lives; Minene Uryuu became an internationally wanted terrorist, and an atheist who specifically targeted those who devoted themselves to God.
As a terrorist, Minene is a master of escape techniques- embodied by her future diary, the Escape Diary- and of bombs, shown by her constant use of flashbangs and her heart bomb. Fearless, she refers to herself as “The Great Minene Uryuu” and has used her own confidence and her sheer hatred of God to push herself along. Though she’s not exactly fond of killing many to get to her target, she’s still got no pity to those who get caught up in her work. If she’s caught, she’d rather just go out with a bang- her entire life has now been devoted to this work. And she’s relentlessly stubborn about it, and anything, for that matter, and with that hates losing at anything, even things she hates- after ending up in a beauty pageant on Akise’s urging, his comments are enough to spur her to victory despite how much she hates not only pageants but crowds. Minene simply never gives up, ever. The fact that she’s rather clever and can be quite sharp at times as well is a big help.
Of course, having spent most of her life alone, Minene is incredibly self-reliant. Living in a box surrounded by squirrels and stealing food is simply everyday life, and she doesn’t want anyone tagging along. Her interactions with the other players of the survival game are rarely warm, unless they’re much younger; either she’s making a reluctant alliance with them (she despises alliances, but if she can get good information out of one, she’s game) or trying to take them down. Her personality is a combination of an almost insane amount of teasing and double-crossing- she oftentimes seems to ally with someone only to reveal she’s using them within minutes- to just sarcasm. Occasionally, she can be a bit silly or over-the-top, but as she’s in a game where everyone’s fighting to survive, that’s rare.
But Minene’s one true weakness is something that was taken from her: childhood. Minene’s love for children is immense- when The Fifth, a toddler named Reisuke, leaves his puppets at the hospital she’s treated at, she risks her life and almost gets caught by the police trying to track him down to get them back to him. And later when she impersonates a nurse at a hospital, she works rather diligently with the children, commenting that hanging out with them “isn’t like it’s boring.” Even a pregnant squirrel reduces her to an “awww.” She’d hate to see a young kid suffer the way she did, although by the time they’re teenagers, she isn’t as sympathetic, as shown by her treatment of Yukiteru and Yuno. Even after all that the prospect of having a family again flusters her completely: Nishijima’s proposal renders her flabbergasted, to the point where she accuses him of just wanting to have sex with her. All that time alone has made her think that being in a family again is an unreachable thing, so she simply stopped caring about it.
The Twelfth puts it best: "You are only a person who hates the world because they had suffered hardship themself." Really, there’s a fairly good person in Minene’s heart- she can even be a bit heroic if you want her too, as she begins to act as the story goes on; her interactions with the people she meets during the survival game, especially with Nishijima and Yukiteru, warm her up a bit. But there’s still the fact that life has been so clouded by anger that even though that good person has shown herself, her behavior is still quite sarcastic and rough most of the time, and because of her status as a fugitive will probably never take care of anything in the most lawful or proper way- or live a completely normal life, for that matter. And she doesn’t really care for one, anymore. Even if she is warming up to people again, she’s also still on the run, something she’s perfectly used to.
Powers & Abilities: Minene has no powers of her own; she is fairly agile from being on the run for so long and has extensive knowledge of bombs, as well as flashbangs, which she seemingly has quite the supply of.
The her true power lies in her diary. As the 9th player of Deus’ survival game, Minene has been granted the Escape Diary in her cell phone. This tells her the best escape route in any situation for up to 90 days in advance. Due to the nature of the game as well as her profession as a terrorist, the diary is extremely handy; however, it’s no help if an escape route isn’t available, and doesn’t tell Minene exactly what is happening around her.
What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo?
- Her cell phone, aka the Escape Diary.
- about 3 flashbangs.
- Her heart bomb. It’s exactly what it says- it’ll explode the moment her heart stops, and seems to be attached to her at most all times.

Third-Person Sample:
It's not like she hadn't been in a place in poor condition before. No, she'd spent her entire childhood in one- but this was still very different. There may have been some rabid animals occasionally, but not monsters, not things like this.
Though it also wasn't as if she hadn't become accustomed to oddities in recent months. She had a diary that told the future, for pete's sake- between that and Deus, she was fine with the strange, as well. After all, she looked pretty strange herself.
But she hadn't come upon a talking Penguin until now. That was something new.
"Dood!"
What was this thing? It was definitely annoying her, that was for sure. She didn't have the time for this. Back in Sakurami, there were things going on.
...That was strange, too. Being so set on doing something that would save lives instead of destroy them. That's what she'd spent her life doing since that day years ago, wasn't it? But now, even in a game where the goal was to kill others, she was killing a man to protect others.
How stupid- wasn't she a terrorist?! The Great Minene Uryuu, thinking about stupid things like this- nothing was going to happen if she saved anyone. She'd still be alone, after all.
Unless...
"That idiot."
"H-hey, dood! Who're you calling an idiot?!" The penguin...thing at her feet jumped up, sounding at least a little defiant.
And so without a seconds pause, Minene picked up the prinny and threw as far as she possibly could.
"Just leave me alone, you stupid thing-" She yelled, unknowing the consequences that would result from the throw until a small shockwave went across the area.
Well, that was something familiar, at least. Explosions. That was her thing, wasn't it?
"...Heh. I guess they'll come in handy."
First-Person Sample: [ Those of you who happen to look at the feed might get a bit of a jarring sight. This young woman not only has quite the toothy grin, but she’s also wearing an eyepatch- not your average-looking lady. She smirks when she realizes she’s got it working. ]
Don’t you think that’s a bit of a cold welcome? Leaving a lady out in the middle of an abandoned city isn’t that nice, y’know! [ not that she’s used to being treated kindly. she looks around a bit. ]
So, Deus, this is one of your tricks, right? You bastard, just throwing people into things without warning them...![ she pulls a cellphone out of her pocket as she says this, trailing off at the end. forgetting that people might be seeing the feed, her expression temporarily turns to one of shock- but then she looks up at the feed again, a bit more serious. ]
...Hey, whoever’s listening to this. Just what the hell is this place?
