Quitting feels sooo good!
I turned in my letter of resignation yesterday. Do you have any idea how that feels? It feels fucking fabulous!!!!! I am so ready to go.
I don't have a job completely lined up. I have a strong lead though. My interview yesterday went really well. The office is just two attorneys. They are a branch office of a midsized DC firm. I would basically being doing everything short of being an attorney. Which for me is the perfect learning opportunity. Being there I was really excited for the job. I had a follow-up phone appointment with the office manager of the home office. That has to be a good sign. I feel good about the phone interview as well. I don't want to make any assumptions, but I'm crossing my fingers and my toes.
So that be that. Not giving a flying fuck about work anymore makes work that much more fun. :)
