So I saw Prince last Thursday. He puts on an amazing show. I have not screamed that much since back in the days of see bsb in concert. Those were good times in Vegas. Speaking of Vegas....I really need a head count of who is coming to Vegas. If you CC people are going to come up on Friday I'll reserve a second room for you. If you think you will flake, now is the time to tell me because I am planning on booking the rooms this week.
Back to Prince. He didn't do all of my favorites...but he did do "little red corvette", "you don't have to be rich to be my girl", "cream", and "raspberry beret". He obviously did more since he played for 2 hours. It all ended up blurring together to an amazing experience.
Well my weekend has been nice. Spent some good quality time with Matt. It is great to have him back in town. I don't know if it is because I am used to not seeing him for long intervals or if I am that much in love, but I cringe every time that I leave or he leaves. Even yesterday. He left my place about 4 in the afternoon and I was going to go to his place at like 8 that night. When he left, I still felt that pain in my stomach that I feel every time we part and it made me want to cry.
Anyways...you guys don't want to hear me gush about Matt. Lord knows there are plenty of entries about that. Umm...I can talk about work. I am going to be on the new website. It launches September 21st. I was suppose to be an attorney, but wore the wrong color and was demoted to a client. Oh well...I got to miss a few hours of work and got an extra 25 bucks. Sounds good to me. I'll give everyone the link once it relaunches so you can see me in all my glory.
They laid someone else off at work though. What really blew was that I knew before she did. I saw her before she knew too. That is so hard. She is such a cool person too. She sits right by me. I'll definitely miss her. Bloody hell....it really is coming down to when are they going to lay me off...not if. Granted I work my ass off and a lot of people depend on me....but I'm not irreplaceable. Besides, if I expect it, then it won't be so bad when it happens.
I'm starting to really fill out law school apps. The time has come. Hopefully I'll get to visit one or two this week. I'm taking Thursday off because it is Rosh Hashanah. However, I don't have a temple to go to. Really, what would be a better way to start off the new Jewish New Year? Works for me. We will see though.
I'm running out of things to write. So that will do pig. That will do.
