So yesterday was my first day at work, and typical me, managed to break something within 5 minutes of working there. Other than that seems really nice there, everyone there was really friendly so hopefully I won't be feeling too much like "the new girl" for long!
The only really, really annoying thing is the fact that we have to spend hours making the racks of clothes look PERFECT, military style. I was breifed on making:
* the collars on hangers all match so they are all in line with each other,
* making sure the hangers are equally spaced, hung all the same way round with the right cubes on,
*hung in size order- smallest to biggest size,
*trouser legs and hanging in line with each other,
*sleeves in line and folded at an angle together whilst on the hanger,
* Jeans hung up with the double clip hangers have to have the clips on in exaclty the same place
*Double clip hangers have to all lie horizontal....
and i'm sure ive missed something out.
So I spent literally half an hour on this one rack of clothes, put the finishing touches to it, and then gOt told I have to do the whole of the back of the shop, then look back after 5 minutes to find some greasy chav had COMPETELY made a mess of the rack of clothes i'd just spend 30 minutes perfecting!!!
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHGHGH!!!!!
But my secret perfectionist tendancies must have arisen, because actually, I think I'd prefer to do that than say, be stuck on the changing rooms for hours.
ALSO, last night was Neils surprise party at TGI fridays which i'd been secretly planning!
And was quite a success if i do say so myself.
I celebrated with a few cocktails, probably a few too many I realised when I could only just about taste my burger. haha
But seriously, could YOU resist a cocktail made with vanilla ice cream and oreo cookie milkshake, mint liqueur and baileys?
If you think you could, you OBVIOUSLY havent tried it. It tasted like mint munchies.
