(no subject)
Just got home from Savannah. Phew, that drive gets long and hot in the midst of traffic.
I had an incredible trip, minus not being able to sleep last night, but other than that minor snag...the trip was wonderful.
I went to this sweet Costume Ball thingy Friday night with Sandy and some of her friends. I went as the Phantom of the Opera (there's some pictures in Sandy's journal, i think)...but it was awesome. Lots of cool costumes there. People were dressed up from The Blue Man Group to an Ipod commercial to Tyrone Biggums to just wearing underwear made of Post-Its (too bad it was a gay dude)...but it was still pretty fun.
Saw some cool costumes last night while walking down River Street too.
Hung out with Drew and Tapper for a bit while I was down there. I love those dudes. We had a good night watching Batman Begins and and chowin' down on some fried ice cream and cheese dip.
I'm glad I'm home and resting, but I miss my Beautiful Girl. I get so used to falling asleep next to her and seeing her every second, that when I come back, everything feels kinda off and awkward. It wont be a big deal though, first quarter is over in a few weeks and she'll be back up here for awhile. E>
Haha, I'm glad people enjoyed that last picture. That wasnt the actual bench that Tom Hanks sat on when they filmed Forrest Gump...cause they took that down as a result of people stealing it all the time...BUT, that was the same square they filmed it at and it was about 10 feet from where the other bench was. I was still pretty pumped. Sandy did a damn good job on editing that picture too, if I do say so.
Well...I guess I'm gonna rest while I wait to find out what Jeremy and David are up to tonight. I'm looking forward to maybe hitting up some Viva Mexico. I could go for a Steak Burrito or some Pollo Fundido right now....
