spring b r o k e n 2006
boy oh boy where to begin...
spring break 2006 was the best week of my life thus far. hands down, no joust.
For those of you who didn't already know, Miss Meghan Carney and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas and visited Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach in Flordia. I'm going to break it down by area...
Cocoa Beach: 2 days
+beach volleyball with a redneck named Gerry Miracle...im not even kidding about the name
+"Josh and Ashley asked for ass." (This sentence epitomizes the Chicago Land accent and several Flordians loved hearing us say it so they could laugh hysterically at our nasally voices)
+Ron Jon's Surf Shop: i wanted to buy every single thing in there, but i settled for a sweatshirt, sandals, and a beach bag
-There was this shirt that said spring broken 2006 at Ron Jons and stupidly i failed to purchase it. damn. maybe they have an online store
+ipod speaks on the beach
Fantasy Cruise: 5 Days
+Senor Frogs in Nassau, Bahamas for 5+ hours. Right when we walked in, they screamed WHO WANTS FREE SHOTS!? That's enough to make anyone squeal and hop like a little girl
+/-Trying to walk back from Senor Frogs.
+The beach at Freeport, Bahamas was absolutley beautiful
+The "Discotheque" on board provided hours of interesting dance entertainment
+staying up until 5 am the last night with carney and these guys casey and keegan to watch the ship be tugged into flordia
-waking up at 8 the next morning to pack our stuff up to disembark...not that I can complain because it was self enflicted
+the wet bar we had in our room
+almost 24hr pizza and ice cream
+very little parental interference
++++Casey, Keegan, chris, joe, mike and all the others whose names I cannot remember for various reasons
+losing Meghans flip flops and running across the entire boat in just my bathing suit while it was crazy windy out to go find them and having them be right next to my bag where I ran from. bah.
+sitting on a pile of deck chairs doing a b s o l u t l y nothing at all. it was lovely
+no internet, no phone service
+watching the las vegas style show and not knowing what the hell was going on
Daytona Beach: 2 Days
+Boogie boarding
+meeting up with Danny and Matt
+Vencenzo's italian restrauant: table for 19 (although ironically, this little italian eatery had the worst italian dressing i have ever tasted...)
+throwing the pink football we bought at Ron Jons to pick up boys haha works like a charm! try it some time
+Meghan taking pictures of hot boys walking by
----Our plane, scheduled to leave at 8:15pm, was delayed 7 hours to 2:20ish am. To compensate for our wasted time, the airline gave everyone a 10 dollar food voucher for McDonalds or a Deli (which were the only places open after 12) so i think, sweet, a McFlurry! No. THEIR ICECREAM MACHINE WASNT WORKING. ahhh insult to injury!
+landing at 5 and sleeping until 2 pm

+maybe Mizzou this upcoming weekend, followed by a trip to SAN FRAN for my award
well, thats a very general synopsis of meghan's and my spring break.
