I'm Awake
So....I'm awake. Got woken up about 30 min ago by a woman screaming at the top of her lungs, "Please don't hurt me!" lots of extremely loud banging(the kind that sounds like a person being bodily thrown into things) and a man yelling something I couldn't understand and the woman screaming in shrill tones between all that. Had no idea what was going, but it sounded pretty damn serious to me. Almost sounded like a robbery really. So, I call 911 and tell them what's going on and not sure what it is. During the 2 minutes it takes them to get here much more banging, screaming, pleading I hear the guy leave with lots of banging and explatives in the mix. Upon that realizing that it was definatly domestic violence that had occured. Police get there and make sure everyone is ok. Once they leave the woman starts screaming and crying again, but I know the guy isn't there so she must just be upset about what had happened. I almost wish he'd been there when the police showed up. Any man that elicits the response of a woman having to plead for her life like that isn't worth a shit. I was so affraid for her. I've never heard anything quite like that. In a wierd kinda way I hope they don't realize it was me that called the cops. Heaven forbid that guy finds out and gets pissed off about it. These doors aren't all that strong. So....now I'm awake and have to get up at 5:30a to hit the gym. Man this is gonna suck!
