a day just like the rest.
i slept relatively well last night. not too bad. i woke up was just lying in my bed for a good few hours, reading, listening to music. it was quite relaxing. i turned over to turn on the cd in my cd player and realized that i had not returned "mallrats" damnit.
so i got dressed, had a bowl of imitation fruit loops (oh yes, what the hell have i become?) and waited for my father to return with the car. i then drove to rogers (i was even there yesterday!!) and dropped it off, when i asked the guy how much my late fee was he was like "no worries you can pay it next time you rent something, it's less that 70 cents." so i saved the dollar.50 in my pocket.i roamed around the movie store for a while.. debated buying high fidelity (because i love that movie... mm fave) but i didn't and i'm proud becasue i thouhgt i should save my money.. and gradually i am.
as soon as i stepped out of the movie store a kid was there selling chocolate bars for a group that helps troubled teens.i didn't have enough money for a chocolate bar, but i gave him my dollar.50 as a donation.
i drove home, ate some food, and decided to show my mom how to fix her candles. we had fun with that and then when dad came back after having taken our car (mom and i's...:)) went to fabricland to get that stuff i needed for school.
i came home, cooked dinner and here i am! not very exciting, but better than most days.
yesterday was fun. tara, cindy, prianka and i went to the shaker + matt mays concert at olivers (carleton university) it was very good. i'm quite pleased, a good way to spend 5 dollars :). tara and i also ran into a girl (denise) that we know from class. interesting the places we meet people now :).
i'm working tomorrow at 1...until close. yay! money good... and no "billings bride idol" (shudder) either. thank god for that. i hope it won't be too busy!
my room is so messy it makes me sad. there are cds and movies everywhere. the only think i think is where it belongs is the laundry. (at least i'm doing something right this time...).
the best thing about this weekend has to be that my homework is a)very simple b)not long at all. this is a blessing, seeing as the end of next week is going to be hectic again with another project due on friday.
all right i'm off to try and at least pick stuff off of the floor. we'll see how that goes :S.
