First Critic- Hot n' Cold(by Antony and Jessica)
Well, okay. I'm going to start my first criticism. Now, don't get me wrong, I know these kids. I have talked to them, argued with them, and ignored them as much as possible.
And I have every right to criticize this to death. It's not like I don't have experience with making videos. I know how to make videos. I've made several on youtube, in fact. I don't really like 'em anymore, but I still admire the skill I had to have made them. Now, this is not just purely criticizim, as I will also be constructive and I will explain what could possibly make this video better and what I would do to improve it.
Well, that was repetitive.(My first thought). Really repetitive, in fact. I know the song itself is already repetitive, but the repetitiveness of the video is too repetitive for the repetitiveness of the song. That's the number one reason why this video is bad. Also, the effects are cheesy, and there are no transitions. That's another problem. I know this is for fun and all, but you should also show a bit of professionalism. What's wrong with that? That's what this video is really lacking. But I already dislike Antony and I don't care for Jessica so there will be no pardons or excuses. I try not to show favoritism, but since I already dislike such folk I'll try not to be too harsh just for not liking them.
And so I rate this 1.5/5 stars. 1 star for effort, and half a star so I don't seem as mean and bitter as I really am.
Here are ways to improve this crappy video. Let's start off with what a music video needs:

Direction
While they have some content, and they have their music, acting, and scenes, there is no direction and the editing is very very bad. Now how do I improve on this? Well, I:
A. Add more scenes, make them lip-sync better, be more creative, and change of clothes and add a concept
B. REPEAT SCENES MUCH LESS, if not, not repeat at all
C. Add direction
D. Edit the video together better, with much less repetition.
E. Use special effects sparingly. You don't need them in this music video. It's useless unless you have more money.
Frankly, that's all you need to make a better video. If I were to have made this video(with Jessica and Antony), I'm sure it would have turned out better.
Now I must discuss the good things about this video:
1. Jessica gets hurt(pretend.)
2. It's a tad funny.
