[Sara is a quick woman when she wants to -or needs so. She comes running through the park; stops, looks around, and then runs right at them as she spots them.

They haven't met before but judging by the police badge dangling from her neck she's just into this whole helping thing. the fact that her entire right arm and shoulders are covered in METAL, like a muscle-like armour... that is a bit odd though. Maybe.]

Hey! Are you okay, kid?!

[Taking a quick look around so there's no immediate enemies she throws herself down beside Kaito to look at him]

[Ed and Ein had retrieved him and laid him out on the grass beside the tree. He is unconscious. It was hard to tell damage wise what his condition was, but he was breathing shallowly but consistent, and his pulse was strong.]

[Ein sat beside him, Kaito's phone in front of his paws, and he looked up as Sara approached.]

[The corgi pokes his nose at the phone. Faye can now hear the transmission.]

Arrf!!

[Sara gives the dog a look, and blinks. A dog with a phone, okay then... She turns back to the unconscious young man and reaches out to check his vital signs]

Hey! Hey, can you hear me? Damn--

[She curses but collects herself and places her right hand on Kaito's chest.]

Okay, here we go. Can't leave you dyin' here kiddo in the middle of an alien invasion!

[A bright glow erupts from the metal-clad and clawed hand and she places her palm on the boy's chest. It's metal... but it's warm. Warm, and healing what's broken. Sara frowns as the Witcblade appears to think this is BORING and it lusts for the war raging around them. She grits her teeth and focuses; it will hurt like a bad bruise but she needs him to be able to run and be okay. Now, dammit!

Done, she removes her hand and gently pats his cheek with her other hand.]

Hey kid, kid! Wake up! Can you hear me?

[Kaito reacts first by coughing as his breath wheezes into his battered chest. The broken ribs mended with the healing, leaving behind only bruises that was more annoying than fatal. He groaned.]

That was stupid...

[Ein's ears perked up from Kaito's voice and the corgi barked.]

Ugh... Too loud, Ein...

[Kaito cracked open an eye and saw Sara standing over him.]

Hi. Sara Pezzini, New York and Desai PD. Can you move? This ain't a good place to be right now.

[Never mind the metal armour thing. Gotta run!]

[Kaito blinked. Nevermind that he felt like he was bruised all over.]

Right... I'll get out of here ASAP, officer.

[He sat up and looked around. When he realized there were only the three of them here, his expression began change with alarm.]

Ein! Where's Ed!?

[His glance went around again, and was pulled back by a calm bark by the corgi. Glancing down at the dog, Kaito studied him for a few seconds and calmed. He turned back to Sara.]

I guess you need to get going...

[As he sits up she gets to her feet and looks around. She looks back at him with an assuring smile.]

I need to fight but I'll accompany you somewhere a little safer. Out in the open is no good, okay?

[Kaito quickly shook his head.]

I'll be fine. Don't waste your time here, go and fight those monster things if you can.

[He scratched the corgi beside him and was rewarded with a bark.]

I know how to avoid them. ...and thanks.

[She looks worried but to be honest, she wants to fight and underestimating people in Desai is easy]

[Kaito smiled, but it was mixed with a grimace as his body reminded him just how bruised it still was. Then again, he was surprised he wasn't hurt more given what happened. - He had no idea that he was.]

Yeah, I can take care of myself now that I know what they're like. They're big and ugly, can't be that hard to avoid.
