Enter Poma, mechanical engineering considering optics as a masters degree after college.
Enter Ball Aerospace... one of the leading aerospace research companies and contractors (AKA NOT DEFENSE!)
Enter James Webb Space Telescope: basically, replacement of the Hubble.
= Sweetness
Did I mention...
~Paid housing?
~Paid to fly/drive out and paid to fly/drive home
YAY! YAY!
Oh, and how did this all happen?
Was it a connection through my father who's first job happened to be at Ball in Colorado? NO!
Was it a connection through some random indian person that my parents know? NO!
Was it through ME posting my resume, ME talking to people, ME going through 3 phone interviews? Damn straight.
This is for me, with all my faults and my GPA and my experiences.
They truly want me.

And it all starts a week after the wedding craziness. So no depressing month during which I have nothing to do, no one to talk to, and nothing to look forward to like last summer.
