(no subject)
I've not had a single complaint about the apartments here in Georgia since we moved here 4 months ago, until I happened to get ready to walk out on my balcony and get the shit scared out of my by people standing on my balcony painting. So, I called down to the office and I get this. yes we have contractors working out there, to which my response was, um, ok cause I never received a letter about it and have been walking about in various states of undress. (Now, even though my blinds are closed, the dog likes to get her muzzle in them and move them, especially when she hears a lot of people outside like when people are painting and banging for example, and it's not noticeable from the ground, but if someone were say standing on the balcony and the blinds moved, they might have a better view *shudder*) The lady said, yes you did recieve a letter about a week and a half ago about pressure washing and they're a bit behind because of the weather. I'm sorry, They came to pressure wash a week ago, so I assumed that was it since the letter was about pressure washing not painting...Overall, this may seem like a silly rant, but the guys outside painting are so creepy, I honestly didn't think they were contractors and I actually thought maybe it was some perverts or something pretending to have work there. There were some people painting the outside rails of my balcony yesterday, but they weren't very thorough and after I opened the door to see what it was they left without finishing and it wasn't like it was the end of the day or anything, it was 1pm. So I thought maybe they weren't supposed to be there and I had scared them off. After their mysterious disapperance yesterday and their appearance today, I thought maybe they were a bit sketchy. I've not seen them painting anyone else's balcony railings when I walk the dog either, and Shy and I walk all around the neighborhood...
