Pidgehuss's theory

Copy and pasting this from the last post because it looks interesting and I don't think it'll be discussed since that post is kind of closed now.
"I'd like to point out that this adds further credence to my theory that Lindsay might be behind the whole thing. Lindsay has a problem with the Greek system after they denied her as a legacy because of her anonymous quote in the paper about rush affecting her grades (and possibly something else, because this seems to be some really rough stuff for that comment). She may or may not have been pushed down the stairs by a Greek, though I admit that serious injury would have been pretty hard to fake (and the article didn't say if Lindsay was injured badly, just that she was injured), it is a bit suspicious that her boyfriend just happened to be the one to find her. So, Lindsay may be out to do damage to the Greek system at Hearst.
Steven could be implicated because he's dating Lindsay. It wouldn't be hard for him to fake his own injury, since we haven't seen an article about it or have any credible sources that he's injured other than the tape that he made himself, which was stagey (though whether that is a reflection of the character of Steven or the actor playing Steven, it's hard to say).
The victim may or may not have been involved, but I'm starting to suspect that she wasn't raped. She may not know if she was drugged and assumed as such when her head was shaved. The way she opens her eyes at the end of the third video did not indicate that she was groggy, but again, whether that's the character or the actor, it's unsure.
What's the real puzzle here is the puzzles and the codemaster. It could be theorized that the person who left the last set of articles is the same as the Codemaster, though as I've mentioned several posts ago, the e-mail address of that anonymous person and the codemaster are different. The last set focused on Leslie Meers and the ruthlessness of the Greeks in getting what they wanted. This could have been set up by Lindsay and Steven, knowing that Veronica (who brought down one of the frats over their "points system") would put the pieces together and possibly bring up the cruelty and ruthlessness to Dean Harlow, who might punish the Greek system again. However, it's unclear as to if Lindsay and Steven are behind the Codemaster as well, since this trail of puzzles is starting to uncover Lindsay's connection with the Greek system, though the cruelty against her (whether Lindsay's fall was real or fake) might just be more ammunition. But if it were Lindsay and Steven behind the Codemaster, you'd think they'd be trying to keep her name away from the whole case, so as not to accidentally implicate themselves.
And finally, there is VE. If the villain in this case is really a set-up and Lindsay and Steven are doing this solely to get Veronica to "solve" this bogus case and find a way to nail the Greek system, it wouldn't make sense for VE to "distract" Veronica from the case with all of the puzzles. Although, if Lindsay and Steven know there is no actual villain and they only wanted to set up the scenario to make Veronica suspicious of the Greeks and dig up dirt on them, they may have wanted to distract her.

I think that there's some really good speculation here. I agree that there are enough funny things surrounding both Lindsay and Steven that we should wonder about their motives...

Anyway, that's my wild conspiracy theory.
