I want sunshine & beach hair,
and the smell of coconuts & salt water.
I wanna drive 90 with all the windows down & float in the pool.
I want to dig my toes into the sand and feel the sun on my face.
I wanna party with my best friends.
I want cold beer on hot nights.
I wanna sneak out and sit around a fire on the beach.
I wanna go skinny dippin' & lay in hammocks.
I wanna watch fireworks & lay on the front lawn looking at the stars.
I want an adventure everyday.
I want the morning after around a kitchen table,
laughing about the night before.
I want the next day with my friends on the front porch.
I want Summer.
A few more days and I'm home for Summer vacation. I miss the Island a lot, I miss my friends. I miss them so much. I can't wait to leave. I love Purchase but I need Long Island. Bye.
