Procrastination -- a beautiful thing

Frickin aye man! I have been so sentimental...
This past weekend I went home to see "The Music Man." Everyone was wonderful. My sister was fabulous with her amazing, academy award-winning line - "Barney, that's my Barney!" Oh, I just want to break down in tears just thinking about how moving it was... :) I was even more proud of my dear Joelly. Aw, I should've gone to Homecoming with you Junior year...tee hee. But seeing the musical for the first time and not being in it was even more of a trip. As Meliss and I sat off in the distance watching the circle time, knowing that this year we weren't part of that cast, that comraderie...it was very sad. Whenever the seniors came back, I always thought it was so lame. And here I am... All I could think of was all four years of my amazing drama experience. The crazy cast parties, and crushes, and waiting all that time to finally get a lead in "Cabaret." And now I am studying opera at USC. Who knows if I will ever be in another musical theater production...I miss the stage...and the lights...and the audience...
Every one is having sex and I am not.
I am picking my lip right now because I am nervous just thinking about all the shit I have to get done before summer begins next tuesday.
My Summer Goals:
* Road trip / visit Lauren in Santa Cruz
* Make Freshman year scrapbook and photo album
* Write a song (record a demo)
* Get a job: Macaronni Grill/L.A. Opera Marketing Internship
* Take French at Moorpark
* Use Burke Williams Spa gift certificate
* Practice piano / keep up the voice
I LOVE star gazer lillies (my new favorite flower), eating breakfast outside, smelling fresh gardenia flowers, feeling full, wearing long shirts, pictures of Italy, making funny faces, forcing yourself to go to the gym and feeling really great afterwards that you actually went, odwalla Wellness, the new Vanessa Carlton cd, spinach artichoke dip, surprise hellos (especially when I am sitting at my desk and someone hugs me from behind), whiteboard messages, a goodnight's sleep, hitting a really great high note, feeling pretty, water...I will add more later
