cracked.com is a really fun place to be when you're bored out of your mind.
case in point:

while it is disappointing that they had to include pictures of half naked chicks in an article about words, i'm at least glad that the article's there in the first place. although i do wish they had included "disinterested." people (coughchiomegacough) always seem to think that it means "she does not like this sorority" when really it means "not swayed by personal motivations." i don't know why i put that in quotes, i just made it up.
