Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys
Man that was a great show.
It was about a monkey (Captain Simian) that had been sent into space in the 60s and he floated into some galaxy where monkeys ruled. Captain Simian had a ship and crew of monkeys and they sort of floated around space doing pretty much nothing. Sometimes they would land on a weird alien planet where they would get attacked by plants or something. The basic formula for the show is star trek type action+ stupid monkey jokes+ sexy 2nd in command lady monkey + hostile alien monkeys= roughly 21 minutes of cartoon bliss.
