Milo and Din?

Ok I dunno if someone can help me with this....there was a half live action/ half animated movie that showed when I was younger. It was about a boy named Milo and his dog and he was really mischeavous and he got into a lot of trouble with his mom.....anyway one day, i have no idea why but he drove a car into a wall and when he did that the movie turned to full animation. Anyway Milo's dog began to talk when they were animated and he and Milo started trying to get home. They meet all these different characters that rpresent all the trouble Milo makes, for example they meet a character called Din who is noisy and shows Milo the error of his ways.
If anyone has ANY idea of what show I'm talking about I would reaaaaaaalllly appreciate......
