trying to track something down...
Goosebumps author R.L.Stein... who I'm sure you're all familiar with wrote a series which I can't remember the name to but I borrowed from a library several years ago, read 2 books from the series got into it then was told by the library that the next book was missing.
things I can remember about it: some kind of island competition, a witch in the cave on the island, a backstory about a freaky/witch child with a crescent moon shape on her that was accused of being a witch after illness fell upon her illdoers and was taken to the island.
can't remember much else but out of curiosity would like to track it down.
