I need some help on this one and I figured someone here could remember.
I read a book in high school about a mother who's child is playing out in the yard and gets kidnapped while she goes inside for a minute. She ends up sitting on the swing and talking to the police. I think the kid also leaves behind a single mitten. Sorry but that's all I remember. But I know I loved the book when I read it. Any help please. None of my former classmates can think of the title.
